In what looks to be the match-up of the night, former top overall picks, Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin take the ice tonight in what looks to be one of many classic match-ups in years to come. Gone are the days of Gretzky and Lemieux, but these two are no slouches. Like Wayne and Mario, the debate over who is better will rage on for years to come. Both are born leaders, both have incredible hockey instincts, both  have tremendous skill and both have the winning desire that is void from so many young talented players in the NHL. I live for hockey nights such as this one. It is what makes the sport so great, and for anyone who is a skeptic of NHL hockey, do yourself a favor—watch the Capitals vs. Penguins tonight. Key your eyes on Sidney and Alex. Watch their every move as they effortlessly compete at a level well-above their linemates. What makes a match-up such as this one so wonderful, is the hype that pushes one to top the other. You can expect these two to push each others skill level to places unknown. They are great ,they are sports poetry, so  watch if you dare, and be prepared witness the great new faces of the NHL.

Fantasy Outlook- Sid is due to explode as is Ovechkin, look for the Penguins to pour it on the Caps. I’m not sold on Jose Theodore and he is doomed to get shelled tonight. Sid will have a multi-point game and Ovechkin will tap a goal tonight. Be confident these two will produce on the fantasy hockey score sheet tonight. Both are 1-2 in most drafts, and will produce like 1-2 tonight.

UPDATE - Sidney Crosby is having a good fantasy hockey night, with 2 assists in the first 25 minutes of the hockey game, both assists. Advantage Crosby thus far over Ovechkin. Theodore as said before, is not a good goalie. What’s happened to Jose? Albeit all PPG’s, but he is just not the same…
